Delightful summer wedding in the Kent countryside

Set in the Kent countryside, last July saw a most beautiful wedding at Natasha’s family home. Natasha, together with her mother, prepared for the wedding in meticulous detail. They brought in florist Kenny who created sumptuous displays of country summer blooms which accompanied tables laid with vintage crockery from Idyllic Days.

Waiters delivered culinary delights under the watchful eye of event guru Oliver Allen, serving 240 guests in the marquee nestled in the garden and incorporating a fountain!

Thanks to Natasha for telling us about her wedding:

“I had always dreamed of having my wedding at home in the garden with the fountain in the middle of the marquee.
Mum used to organise a lot of Charity Balls and was the perfect partner in crime for planning the incredible day. Due to her connections, we already knew florist Kenny (The Flower Studio @ Canterbury), Sue at Harrisons (hair team) and Kristian (Maypole Marquees)

I spent an awful lot of time on Pinterest researching ideas and helping the whole thing come together.

I couldn’t have done any of it without Mum, we made a bit of a dream team and she was an amazing force to be reckoned with and made 72 ice bowls for the day, took her forever to do!

Advice for your upcoming wedding….. plan in advance, spreadsheets saved my life, listen to your other half’s ideas (some of them are actually quite good!)

Take time, just for you and your new hubby, to take it all in and enjoy it. So many brides get carried away in expecting the perfect day… just accept that things can go wrong and sometimes there is nothing you can do to stop it! It’s only minor and it will, no matter what, be the best day of your life!”
